I am a sculptor born and based in Brooklyn NY.
My sculptures merge architecture and viscera, landscape and body. Conceived as vertical seascapes, they evoke geological core samples where land, water, and sky become bodily forms. Collaborating with Acetobacter, I cultivate translucent bacterial skins inside tilted glass tanks, where they grow into geometric planes. Molten wax poured onto water captures fleeting forms shaped by gravity and fluid dynamics, which I cast, then excavate to reveal textured cavities. Pushing ideas rooted in Minimalism and Process Art, I explore sculpture as an autonomous living presence, balancing rigid geometry with organic growth. These exposed wax forms, paper-mâché cavities, and microbial worlds become unique bodies, revealing their insides to the outside.
